Service on this order has been terrible. I ordered this on the 12th, and I’m still waiting.. Somebody dropped the ball on this one. I also ordered 8gb or ddr2, and a 1.5tb hard drive that I had to cancel thos items because they were never shipped.. Very poor service….

I ordered the L cable, and got a straight cable, either no one is paying any attention to the shipping, or they need to stop false advertising the L cables, when they are really selling a straight, oh and by the way, the cable was broken by the time i got it!! i do fully expect my money back! with shiping!

I bought this cable thinking it could go in any computer case because I could plug the angled end into the motherboard or into the drive. Wrong! This cable is not compatible with my rather new Dell Inspiron 530. The angled end would not fit into the only available port on my motherboard. And because hard drives are screwed into the case upside down, when the angled end of the cable is connected to the drive, the case does not close. I found out that I really needed a LEFT angle SATA data cable – which is fairly uncommon. Staples, or at least the one near me, does not carry SATA data cables at all. So, I had to travel about 25 miles to a large computer store to buy a straight cable. The store also had left angle SATA cables but I decided to play it safe. The moral is be very careful about buying angled SATA data cables and make sure it will work with your case with the available ports. Can’t comment on the quality of the cable because I can’t use it.

The 90 degree bend in one end of this cable made connection so much easier. I put the bend end on the hard drive, which allowed the cable to drop straight down. Right behind the drive, I have a huge CPU cooling fan. Super convenient connection for a tight space.
